The Fuse
Equity futures are giving back the gains from Wednesday after some violent overnight moves. Stocks look ready to move back down and perhaps even test the lower support area before the big reversal on Sunday evening.
Equities in Europe were off Thursday with STOXX down .8% led by sharper declines in France and Germany. The FTSE also lower by .7%, US dollar rose up .2% while gold and silver get hammered. Oil is back up in the mid 90’s. Yields are on the rise, the German 10 yr bund up 5bps, 10 yr US treasury up 4 bps, in Asia Japan was down modestly, .3% but Hong Kong down more, off 1.9% and Shanghai down 1.1%.
