Marc Chaikin, Founder and CEO of Chaikin Analytics and creator of Chaikin Money Flow, presented how to make winning trades by turning volatility into profits – whether trading stocks or options.
Marc talked about how to use the Chaikin Power Gauge rating as your guide and how to time exits. He also gave some tips on how best to use other tools of the chaikin analytics, the five keys to success. Marc also gave some good history and background, his qualifications are unmatched.

This Week’s Market Action
Monday’s strong rally brought false hope that the selling after the Fed meeting was over. And then we had a big drop on Tuesday. There is often no explanation for such moves, but with so much uncertainty around Fed policy, there will be plenty more down days to come. I expect we’ll be testing the August lows sooner rather than later.
In fact, Monday’s low put/call ratio signaled that there is far too much complacency. The VIX also moved higher, but the oscillators are back to neutral after an overbought reading. For now, we’ll have to wait and see what impact the durable goods, GDP estimate and sentiment reports have on the markets.
