Chart of the Week: Keurig Dr. Pepper
Hey everyone. Happy Wednesday. Time for our chart of the week. And we’re gonna focus in on Keurig Dr. Pepper, which is obviously a manufacturer of drinks and sodas and waters and so forth. This chart is looking really strong here. Let’s take a look at this one.
So we had a big run back from the spring into the early part of the summer. And you can see that right here. Higher highs, higher lows, your textbook definition of an uptrend. And then we went sideways for a little bit – little sideways consolidation of lower highs, higher lows, which is our textbook definition of no trend.
And then a recent breakout from that high from back at the end of June. A gap up and it started, really started pushing higher. We’re above all those levels right now.
Market is really looking for a lot of improvement from some of these staples names, this being one of them. Coke is another one at a new all-time high. Pepsi has been improving as well.
Good strong volume on the days when the stock has been up. You can see that here since September.
The big long bars are positive days for the stock, so that’s good.
MACD is up at a high over here. Continues to be on a buy signal.
And again RSI up here. Might get a bit of pullback over here, maybe to fill this gap around $35 or so and change.
But I would certainly take a look at adding this name here, especially on this recent breakout. Huge breakout here, another huge breakout here last week and continued on on Monday, the second of November.
So Keurig Dr. Pepper looks pretty strong. Again, been kind of sideways for a little while, doing very, very little.
This was a point, an area, for about two and a half, three months when big institutions were looking to climb into the name without making a big splash. And they did that and they’re benefitting right now with the stock making a move towards the highs.
So that’s KDP, Keurig Dr. Pepper. Thanks so much for watching everyone, and I’ll see you guys next time.
