The Fuse
Equity futures are rallying a bit this morning with good strength across the board, especially on the Nasdaq. It is good to see broad representation and not just from a few key sectors. Yes, the market needs more than the Mag 7 names to advance, it is getting it.
Stocks in Europe were flat in morning, trade the STOXX unchanged while the FTSE lost .2%. The US dollar index was flat, gold about unchanged and silver slightly lower. Crude oil is advancing and is right near $65. Yields in Germany and the US 10 yr both fell 2bps, in Asia Japan kept its rally in tact, advancing 2.3% more while Hong Kong (.6%) and Shanghai (.1%) gained as well.
