Equity futures are modestly higher this morning as stocks try to make it three straight wins. After yesterday’s surge and strong Nasdaq performance this index appears ready for a big move higher, we’ll see if it comes before month end to solidify a positive month.
Stocks overseas did not get the memo from the US markets, STOXX in Europe down slightly, off .1% but France was up. FTSE was flat, US dollar index was the same while gold and silver pull back from their highs. Crude oil is down as talks with Iran begin. Yields in Germany up 1bp, stocks in Asia mixed with the Japan Nikkei up .3% but Hong Kong down 1.4%.
