The Fuse
Equity futures are trying to rebound after getting beaten down hard on Thursday. It’s been a down week for sure even after that turnaround earlier in the week. Not much further to go to find the 200 ma but the indices are very oversold at this point.
Stocks in Europe followed US markets lower last night, the STOXX down sharply, off .9% led down hard by France and Germany. FTSE was also lower, down .8% as the dollar is finding strength, up .4%. Gold and silver are off modestly, crude oil is also down after a volatile overnight session. Yields in Germany and US 10 yr treasuries grew by 1bp, stocks also lower in Asia with Hong Kong down 1%, Shanghai off .8% and Japan down a hefty 1.2%
