What are futures doing?
Mixed start to the day with Nasdaq a bit weaker, working off some of the gains of the prior day. Dow futures look strong with some industrials leading the way

Stocks in Europe went higher today led by gains in France and Germany. FTSE up modestly, too. The dollar was unchanged, crude oil is rallying again but gold is easing back, so is silver. US treasuries no movement as the bond market is closed, while yields in Germany fell modestly. Japan was closed, Hong Kong up a fraction, Shanghai down about .5%
Volatility
VIX moved sharply lower Friday and is rallying a bit today, not much however to count as a selling vice. We could see a bit more upside in the market if the VIX remains sanguin .
