Workday is in that very hot cloud application category that is taking the tech world by storm. This stock has been on a streak since the start of 2018, and the recent sideways action (showing it’s range bound) for the past few months has provided nice consolidation.
It appears we may be at the precipice of a breakout. MACD is on a buy signal and money flow is still positive. The gap lower that occurred during earnings season was filled on Monday with strong turnover, indicating institutional sponsorship. Momentum indicators and RSI show there is more upside to go. We could see the old highs challenged before too long.
